Previously, an Investment Advisor Representative with Provident, John has deep knowledge of the firm's operations and a client-centric approach.
John has also served as the Director of Break the Cycle Global since 2013, a nonprofit organization making a transformational impact in Kenya. Under his leadership, the organization established a Christian Montessori school in Mathare Mabatini, Nairobi's oldest slum, as well as a smaller school and mission center in the remote village of Samburu. John continues to advance this meaningful work through the local Kenyan leadership he has mentored.
As a serial entrepreneur, John has founded several businesses throughout his career, bringing valuable expertise in business development and operational oversight to Provident as the firm continues to expand its services and reach.
John believes deeply that "everyone should be on mission - we just have different expressions and live in different zip codes." This philosophy shapes both his professional approach and personal commitments.
John and his wife, Jan, have three children and five grandchildren. An outdoor enthusiast, John enjoys adventures ranging from safari expeditions in the Kenyan bush to mountain excursions, with a particular passion for coastal activities, including fishing, surfing, and spending time on the beach with his family.
